Writing is a wonderful way to discover and develop ideas and points of view.
I enjoy writing for all the activities that it implicates. First, research and reflect. Then, consolidate and articulate. Finally, customize and share.
I am more a Mozartian than Beethovenian writer. That means that I may take longer to reflect, but write efficiently and effectively with less revision.
Like many writers, I reflect while walking, swimming or cooking—three of my favourite activities.
I write on demand when asked to create student textbooks, teacher resources, reviews and study guides. I write for myself when I blog or tweet (@mediasee).
As well as writing, I consult as a member of Media Smarts’ educational committee and The Journal of Media Literacy’s editorial board.
